These Hands Made the Stars

John 1:14

Jesus, the hands that made the stars became small enough to be held. You who flung the galaxies into the dark came close enough for me to reach. When You feel too vast to know me, remind me that You became flesh — You came near, You let Yourself be held. Let me hold on to You today, and never let go. Amen.
