You're welcome to use Selah and our other Bible-focused apps for personal devotion. We make no claim that the apps are clinical, theological, or medical advice — they're a quiet space for prayer.
Don't redistribute or resell our content. Premium subscriptions renew through Apple or Google; you cancel through the App Store or Play Store, not through us.
The content is provided as-is; we'll do our best to keep things running but we can't promise perfection.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and SimpleDuo Studio ("we", "us", "Our Bible Moments") and govern your use of:
feed.ourbiblemoments.com)By installing or using any of the above, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't install or use them.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial devotional use.
You may not:
All intellectual property in the apps — the code, audio recordings, original written content, branding, and design — remains ours. Scripture quotations are drawn from translations in the public domain or used under terms permitted by their respective publishers.
Selah is free to download with a free daily prayer. Optional Premium subscriptions unlock the full archive of past prayers and additional features.
All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. We do not receive your payment details.
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Lifetime purchases are one-time and do not renew.
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. We can't issue refunds directly because we never receive your payment. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com (iOS) or Google Play refunds (Android).
If we change the subscription price for an existing tier, the store will require your explicit consent before charging the new rate.
If we offer a free trial, you can cancel any time during the trial through the App Store or Play Store to avoid the first charge. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins billing automatically.
The prayers, devotionals, and reflections delivered through the app are pastoral content meant for personal devotion. They are not:
If you are dealing with a medical, mental-health, or crisis situation, please seek help from a qualified professional or emergency service. Prayer can accompany professional care; it does not replace it.
The app does not include any user-to-user messaging, social posting, or in-app account system. Your intercessions and reflections stay on your device (see our Privacy Policy). You agree not to use the app or our network endpoints to:
The app is distributed through Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store. Their terms also apply to your installation and any in-app purchase. If a conflict arises between their terms and ours regarding payment or distribution, theirs control.
The app may include links to external sites (YouTube, scripture publishers, etc.). Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
We work hard to keep the daily content feed and CDN available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The app is designed to keep working in airplane mode using already-downloaded content. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the app evolves; we'll only remove material features with appropriate notice or version migration.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. If we are required to terminate your license — for example, because of a violation of these Terms or a legal obligation — we may do so. The provisions about intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive any termination.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and our content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of devotional or scriptural content, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the app is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will SimpleDuo Studio, its operators, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or relating to your use of the app or our content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; in those, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend and indemnify SimpleDuo Studio from any third-party claim arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the app.
If we materially change these Terms, we will update this page and bump the "Effective" date at the top. Material changes — for example, changes to billing terms or a new licensing model — will be highlighted in the app or by email if you are on our mailing list. Continued use of the app after a change indicates acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes arising from these Terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts of San Francisco County, California, except where you have non-waivable consumer-protection rights under your local law.
